Megapixel Cameras Overview and Recommended Reports

Megapixel cameras are the fastest segment in the entire video surveillance industry with 2008 growth estimated at 70%, twice as high as IP cameras in general. While megapixel cameras still represent only a small fraction of total cameras sold, they are widely seen as a key offering in transitioning from analog to IP video. Specifically, megapixel resolution is only possible with IP cameras so users who want to benefit from the greater resolution need to move to IP.
